The CF64k newsgroup rip went up around 11 pm central last night! I don't normally do best ofs but I wanted feedback on the quality.

The newsgroup source for the Commercial-free 64k mp3 can no longer post them in the afternoon after the show. So far it's been 9-11 Central at night they've been upped by me. There'll likely be a new edited HQ mp3 source in short order. Until then I've been putting up un-edited 32k mp3s (for those not interested in waiting for the later CF64k release) while things sort themselves out.

I see your confusion now. I don't normally post "Best of" shows at all, vacations, etc. - just live stuff. But I kind of wanted to see how this 32k encode would go over vs yesterdays crappy 32k encode. That's what I meant by "if people want it". I plan on putting it up as I think they did some special "thans last day" booth chatter but in the next few weeks at least - all live shows will get the CF64k when it's out and the early 32k with Commercials. Until there's a new CF source; which I occasionally will do but I can't commit to being "the guy" because of real-world realities.

I am one who is interested in the 32k with commercials..doesnt bother me much. I like them asap cause I listen to them at work during the day. The quality of the 'worst of' is good. Better than yesterdays. Thanks goose.

Blame XM - their stream itself is quiet, I didn't adjust it just straight to mp3 with a quick little app. Then I quickly upped here only to have the machine crash....

Are you going to put up this worst of without commercials? It's bad enough that it isn't live. >< Anyway, the "official" reason that they are out is food poisoning. Which is always their reason. Basically they got trashed at Than's party and are too hung over to do a show. Bastards.
The quality isn't great, but it's not bad. I think everyone is just spoiled from the stuff MG usually hooks us up with.

Just got up to piss and apparently the normal CF64k never went up last night. I'm not going to fuck with 6 hours of Best of (that's quite a bit of work) but lets hope the CF64k's keep up for the live stuff or I just may have to.
